So today was the day that I had been awaiting for a month now. My metric fittings finally came. So I did what every giddy geek does when they get a package. I immediately ran downstairs to my workplace, furiously tore apart the packaging,... and tediously cataloged every nut and bolt to make sure I got what I paid for. Great Fun!
In all seriousness though, today I was able to make a lot of progress in the construction of my Darwin. I was able to finish the X-axis of my Darwin in about an hour, all the while taking photos step by step of the construction. Hopefully this days success is a quality that can be repeated for many more in the future
